Dr. Alfred E. McNair Jr., M.D.
Dr. Alfred McNair is a Gastroenterologist on the coast of Mississippi. His top areas of expertise are Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease, Barrett Esophagus, Diverticulitis, Gastrectomy, and Endoscopy. He is licensed to treat patients in Mississippi and has served as a member of the Mississippi State Board of Health from 2002-2005 and as vice chairman of the Board of Health from 2006-2009.
Dr. McNair graduated summa cum laude from Tougaloo College with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and attended medical school at Columbia University.
He completed his medical residency at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York and completed gastroenterology fellowships at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center and Stanford University.
